1990 Pennsylvania Dutch Handmade Wooden Foot Stool, Distelfink, Folk Art, Bird, Tulip, Hand Painted, Farmhouse
Very nice, handmade, wooden foot stool, hand painted in a Pennsylvania Dutch, German, folk art style. Well constructed, hand crafted stool has traditional, Penna. Dutch Distelfink symbols, including birds, tulips and hearts.
Originally made an Anniversary gift, the stool is personalized with "September 1990" painted on the side of the stool top. This could be easily painted over if desired.
Stool top is signed by the artist, "The Klines, 90" who lives locally in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. A sticker on the bottom of the stool describes the different symbols and their meanings, and has the artists name and information.
Approximate Measurements: 14.5" long x 10-1/2" wide and 9" tall.
Stool is in good solid condition, with normal wear, light scratches, and other imperfections. It is sized perfectly to use as a display piece and sturdy enough for every day use.
