This is a very nice, antique, mini, oval, bentwood, pantry box. This primitive, Shaker style box is from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Seams and edges held together with nails and staples.
The top of the lid is stamped with an intertwined, "W D".
Measures just under 3-1/2" x 1-3/4" across the lid x about 1-3/8" tall with lid on.
Box is in good condition overall, with expected wear for the age of the piece. The lid edge is cracked in two spots where the nails are but lid is intact and fits nicely. Please refer to pictures for details.
