Antique, bentwood, oyster box with metal lid. Lid is marked, "WM. E. Dempsey Oysters, Rondout, NY". Bentwood box has metal band around bottom
Shaker style box is from the late 1800's to early 1900's,
Box measures approximately 3-1/2" in diameter x 4-1/4" tall
Box is in good condition with minor imperfections and wear consistent with age and previous use. Seam has some mild separating in the center. Please see pictures for more detail. There are a few minor surface rust spots on the lid and bottom edge. None of these imperfections affect the overall integrity of this wonderful antique box.
