2 Antique Autolite Miner's Headlamps, 1930's Coal Mine, Calcium Carbide Acetylene
This is a set of 2, Antique Autolite Brass Miner's Headlamps from the 1930's. Headlamps operate on Acetylene, created from mixing calcium carbide and water. Both headlamps show varying degrees of cosmetic wear, including dings, dirt, and tarnish. One headlamp is missing the reflector. Both headlamps still have the original hooks, used to hang from the Miner's cap.
These old miners lamps would look great on display with your mining or railroad collection.
Measurements: Each headlamp measures approximately 4" tall x 2-1/2" wide, not including the hook.
