This is a 1930's Westinghouse Chromilite industrial floodlight with an iron base and an adjustable tilting lamp head. This light was likely used on a ship as a search light, or as a firefighter flood light. Other possibilities include a shipyard or a railroad freight rail yard. The metal ID tag includes the date, April 6, 1934. The model number listed on the tag is 786060.
Accepts 300 Watt Light bulb with standard lamp threads.
CONDITION: Floodlight is in good condition and in good working order. There are no cracks, breaks, or other structural damage on the lamp head or base. The glass face is also in great shape. The glass mirror /
reflector has been repaired at some point in the past, as shown in the photos, but is good and solid with no issues. Some normal cosmetic wear and patina is present as expected. This is a very cool old light that would look fantastic on display, or use it as a work light!
MEASUREMENTS: The base measures 14" across. The lamp head measures 14" across at the glass face, and 12" deep. The height as displayed in the first photo is 22" at the highest point.
