This is a very nice vintage, green, Alaska Hostess,Hand Crank, Ice Cream Freezer, made by the Peerless Freezer Company, Winchester, Mass., USA. Bucket is made of fiberglass with metal cylinder and crank, and wood handle. Holds 4 quarts.
Includes original, "Frozen Desserts" recipe pamphlet as well as index card with the original owner's home recipe!
Measures 12-1/2" across at the top, and stands 13" tall. The metal cylinder on the inside measures 5-3/4"
across.
This is a one owner Ice Cream Freezer that was well cared for. It is in very good condition with no cracks, splits, or leaks noted. Light cosmetic wear and insignificant areas of minor surface rust may be present.
