Vintage Red ANSUL Marine Type US Coast Guard Boat Fire Extinguisher, Model A-2-1/2-G Fire Extinguisher, Dry Chemical Extinguisher
Vintage, Red, Ansul, Merrimac Fire Extinguisher. Dry Chemical, Marine type, USCG (United States Coast Guard), Boat fire extinguisher. Extinguisher is marked, "Classification 6-B:C, "Shell model A-2-1/2-G" and "Head model C-2-1/2". Mounting bracket included. Made by the Ansul Company in Marinette, Wisconsin. Measures approximately 3-1/4" across (not including the wall bracket), and 13" tall to the top of the handle.
Condition: Good condition as shown in the photos, with no major damage, dents, etc. Shows some signs of light wear from age and use, including tarnish, dirt, and discoloration.
Great to display or repurpose for any collector of firefighter memorabilia.
