Unique, Mid Century, Rosenthal, Germany, porcelain, vase designed by Stangl. This mint green, ceramic vase is triangular in shape and is pinched or folded in at the top edge, giving it a very unusual look. Titled, "Olympia", vase was made between 1934 and 1957 for Rosenthal by Stangl.
Rosenthal vases were made by various designers / artists, and starting in 1934 vases were numbered to identify the designers, starting with the number 2500. This vase is numbered 2684 (as seen in above photo #10), identifying the designer as Hans Johann Stangl.
MEASUREMENTS: Approximately 3-1/4" across widest point x 3-3/4" tall. Base measures 1-5/8" across
Pottery mark on bottom reads, "Rosenthal Germany Kunstabteilung Selb" with engraved number, "2684" above this. This backstamp indicates vase was made prior to 1957.

CONDITION: Very good, vintage, previously owned condition, with minor wear consistent with use and age. No cracks, chips or breaks noted.
