Vintage Reading Bottling Works Wooden Crate, Wooden Beer Crate, Reading, Pa. Berks County, Pilsener Brewing Co. Crate
A very unusual old wooden crate from Reading Bottling Works, of Reading Pa., and Pilsener Brewing Co. of Hazleton, Pa. This crate has graphics for the Reading Bottling Works on the outside, and the Pilsener Brewing Co. on the inside. My understanding is that these old crates were purchased or acquired from some brewery and bottling companies that either closed their operation, or were bought out by another company, and then taken apart, and recycled and "labeled" for their own use. An awesome crate to display with your collection.
CONDITION: This old box is in good solid condition with nice graphics on 2 sides, (inside and outside) as shown in photos. There are some expected cracks, checking, roughness, and a couple of other imperfections here and there. Overall, this is a very nice wooden crate, from Reading, Pa...
