A Handmade 1940's Folk Art Whirligig, Lumberjack Man Sawing Wood. This awesome whirligig was acquired from a friend of our family in West Chester, Pa. This original piece belonged to a family member who was a lumberjack in the 1920's. We are not certain whether or not he made this piece, but it is an awesome original piece.
It measures about 22" long, and 10" tall, not including the propeller blade.
It is missing the one side of the windmill blade, but other than that, it is in decent shape considering it's age. Minor wear and imperfections are as expected with vintage, handmade items.
Unique, vintage Pennsylvania Folk Art!
