Vintage Zenith Portable Record Player Radio Model Z550, Turquoise Blue Portable Suitcase Phonograph Turntable Record Player
A Vintage Zenith Model Z550 Portable "Suitcase" Record Player / Radio Combination, with a nice Turquoise and Off White outer case.
This record player / radio is in very good condition. The outer case is in great shape with good working latches and hardware. The unit powers on nicely, and the radio plays sound through the speaker. (external antenna needed) The record player runs and plays but does need a needle. Everything appears to be in good working order, except the automatic sound arm return function is not working correctly and I have not taken the time to look into what is causing the problem. Overall, this is a very nice old unit with a super clean case, but it does need some diagnostics done to it to figure out why the sound arm return "component" is not working correctly. I am selling this unit as is and priced accordingly, as I do not know much about these old players, and I may not be correctly describing the problem.
The overall measurements of the case are 16" x 19" x 9".. (when closed and latched)
