Vintage Marx Toys 1950's Wind-Up Convertible D-6581 Roadster Tin Toy Lithographed WORKS!
Vintage 1950's Marx Tin Wind Up 11" Red Convertible Toy Car... This large car is missing the original windshield, and is brightly lithographed Red with silver & cream trim. The interior is also detailed in red & yellow plaid litho, and is missing the plastic steering wheel. The rear license plate reads D-6581, and the Marx trademark is stamped on the passenger door.
CONDITION: There is a fixed wind key on the front right side, and when wound up the car drives forward on its original rubber wheels . Overall, this car is in good condition, showing some typical scratches, scuffs, and areas of paint loss. There is also a slight depression in the top of the hood.
A great collectible that is a wonderful example of a vintage windup toy!
