This is a hand made, vintage, 1960's-1970's, Xalisco, Mexico, Folk Art, paper mache figurine/doll. The figure is a robust man carrying a satchel that appears to be strapped to his back, and a walking stick. It is attached to a particle board/wood base.
Figurine is in good, vintage, previously owned condition. There is a small area on the base where the walking stick is attached that is lighter in color.
Base measures 4.5" x 3.75" x 0.75" tall.
Figure is approximately 6.5" across at widest point x 4" wide x 9.5" tall including base.
Very unique piece of ethnic, Mexican, folk art.
