Beautiful, Terrafirma wine holder / chiller from Ellen Evans. Pottery crock has 2 handles and a cobalt blue glaze inside and on the top edge with unglazed, 3D, sculptural grapes and leaves. Artist signed and dated , 2003.
Ellen Evans Pottery, known as Terrafirma is based in New York made with clay found in the USA.
Could also be used to hold a plant or a few kitchen utensils or hand towels.
Measures approximately 8-1/4" across from handle to handle, 8-1/2" front to back x 6-3/4" tall.
In good condition with no chips, cracks, or breaks noted. As with any unique, handmade item, flaws and imperfections may be present.
Perfect to keep wine cool when entertaining on warm, summer evenings.
