Speckled stoneware wall pocket with textured indent on one corner and edge. Hand painted with blue / green, bamboo leaf pattern and brown rim. Unmarked but looks like pottery made in Japan, such as Mashiko.
Measures approximately 3-1/4" wide x 2" deep across bottom, opening 1-1/2" deep x 4-1/2" tall.
In good condition overall with crazing noted. There is a fine, hairline crack on the back, right corner that does not go all the way through as seen in pictures. No other chips, cracks, or breaks noted.
Use for flowers or would make a unique holder for pens or paint brushes.
