Vintage, hand mixer, egg beater with glass measuring cup. All metal, egg beater fits onto cup with a splash guard covering the top. Mixer is marked, A&J, PAT Oct. 9 1923, Made in U.S.A." on the handle gear. Glass holds 2 cups, or 16 ounces and is marked at 1/2 cup increments and 2 ounce increments. Bottom is marked, "Patent Applied For".
Measures approximately 4-5/8" across the top, about 3-3/8" across the bottom and is 4-3/8" tall.
Splash guars measures about 4-1/2" across and beater stands about 9-1/2" tall.
Beater is in good condition with some wear and light rust noted in a few spots. No deep rust or structural damage. Mixer gears turn easily and it is in good working condition.
Glass measuring cup is in good condition overall with a few chips and scratches to the inside rim. Bottom, square feet have some wear noted at the corners and edges. No other chips, cracks or breaks noted.
