*Petra Montoya Gutierrez (1906-1992) was a renowned, ward winning, Santa Clara Pueblo potter. She did most of her work from the 1940's through the 1970's.
Measures approximately 7" long x 5-3/4" wide x 3/4" tall.
Plate is in good condition with some wear, minor scratches and scuffs as well as slight paint loss in a few spots. There is one pinhole, a glaze defect caused from a small. bubble bursting during firing. No chips, cracks or breaks. As with any unique, handmade item, flaws and imperfections may be noted. This fantastic, historical piece of pottery, even with flaws, is a great addition to any collection of Santa Clara Pueblo pottery.
