This is a very nice, decorative wall plaque featuring a Peruvian ceremonial Tumi knife. These knives were used by ancient Peruvian cultures, such as the Inca and Sicán.
The Tumi is a knife with a semi-circular blade, with a handle that is decorated with a figure.
The figure on the handle is often identified as Naymlap, the mythical founder of the Sicán dynasties.
Knife measures approximately 3-1/4" wide x 7-1/2" tall. Wooden plaque measures 6-3/4" x 11-1/4" tall.
The plaque and brass knife are both in nice condition, with mild cosmetic wear. There are no cracks, breaks, or other structural damage.
