This is a very nice, 1970's table lamp, depicting a wooden wheel hub from a covered wagon. This may have been homemade by a skilled woodworker, as all of the notches where the spokes would fit into the hub, appear to have been chiseled out by hand. The wheel hub has a night light in the bottom, which casts a nice pattern through the notches in the hub. It features a 3 way socket switch, that allows you to light the primary light bulb, and the night light either, together or individually. The primary bulb socket for the lamp, accepts standard size light bulbs up to 75 watts, and the night light accepts a 7 watt candelabra size light bulb. This is a perfect lamp for any wildlife enthusiast or hunter in your family.
Lamp measures approx. 7" across at the base, and stands approx. 28" tall to the top of the finial. The hub measures approx. 11" tall from the bottom of the base.
This lamp is in good condition, and in good working order. There are no breaks, cracks, or chips noted, and the switched bulb socket works perfectly. Power cord and plug are in good solid condition. Some age appropriate cosmetic wear is present, as displayed in the photos.
