Vintage, 1970's, woven, rattan, and wood picnic basket with hinged lid and 2, drop handles. Interior is lined with red and white, checkered fabric with fabric loops to hold silverware in the lid. Two, round, attached baskets on the back hold bottles or wine or water.
Measures approximately 13" wide x 11-1/2" deep including handle x 10" tall.
Basket is in good condition overall with some wear. There is some wear to the fabric liner as well as loss of elasticity to the silverware holders consistent with age. There is one small piece of rattan missing from the front, right corner, but this does not affect the integrity of the basket, please see pictures for more detail. No other cracks, breaks or damage noted.
Perfect summer picnic basket to use or just for display.
