This is a Vintage Berger Surveyor's transit level with the original wooden dovetailed case. The transit is model 190. The transit appears to be in good working order, but it is being sold as a display piece or for a re-purpose project. The wooden dovetailed case is in good solid condition, with normal cosmetic wear and patina.
The wooden case measures 12-3/4" wide x 5-1/2" deep x 8" tall.
This is a nice old Surveyor's transit with a fabulous dovetailed wooden case. It would be a great display piece on a side table or mantel.
