Stunning, gold, beaded handbag, made in France for John Wanamaker. Exterior of bag has a fold over flap and double straps all in a swirl pattern of gold, seed beads. Flip lock clasp is a gold tone, pineapple with rhinestones.
Interior is lined with satin / silk fabric and has 2 main pockets each with a side, slip pocket. Included is a gold, metallic, fabric coin purse, also lined with satin. Coin purse opens and closes with a kiss lock clasp with blue stones.
Marked on the front of interior slip pocket.
Measures approximately 7" across the bottom, 6-1/4" across top x 5-1/2" tall. Strap drop is about 5".
Purse is in very good condition with minor wear consistent with previous use and age. No rips, tears, stains or missing beads noted. Coin purse has one tiny, brown stain on the inside near the side edge but this does not affect the integrity of this fabulous purse.
