This is a very nice, vintage, Japanese, Ikebana, flower basket. Basket is made with thin strips of bamboo, tightly woven in an open weave pattern. Traditional basket used for arranging flowers.
Measures approximately 5-1/4" wide x 5-1/4" tall not including handle, measures 12-1/2" tall including handle.
Basket is in good condition with minor wear consistent with previous use and age. No holes or breaks or missing pieces noted. As with any unique, handmade item, flaws and imperfections may be noted.
