Set of four (4), Italian, Majolica plates, from Ulisse Cantagalli, from the 1920's. Plates are white with scalloped edges and are hand painted with images of a castle / building and a person in red. All plates are signed on the bottom with the Rooster mark.
Three of the plates are the same size and 1 is larger.
Larger plate measures approximately 10-3/4"x 1" tall
Three smaller plates measure approximately 10"
Plates are in good, vintage condition overall. The plates do have a few glaze chips on the edges, but these do not take away from the integrity of these beautiful, vintage dishes and could be touched up if you wish. No other chips, cracks or breaks. As with any unique, handmade item, flaws and imperfections may be noted.
Great gift idea!
