Original 1930's A. Merriam Co. Antique Adjustable Piano Stool, with Claw and Ball Feet, Victorian
This is a very nice, original 1930's adjustable piano stool, manufactured by A. Merriam Co. of Mass. USA. Features include iron claw and glass ball feet, and a concave seat, designed for added comfort. Seat height is adjustable from approximately 18" to 22". Stool turn screw plate is marked "A. Merriam Co. Mass. USA".
This stool is in nice, original condition, ready for daily use. Seat "adjusting screw" works with ease. Simply turn seat left or right, to raise or lower as desired. Wood has fantastic patina, with normal cosmetic wear and imperfections. This stool is not perfect, but it is very nice. A wonderful example of quality and craftsmanship from this time period.
Measures approximately 14-1/2" across at the seat, and height is adjustable from 18" to 22".
