Jadeite mug with "D" handle and saucer. The mug is marked "Oven, Fire-King, Ware" and was made in the 1940's. Saucer is marked "Oven, Fire-King, Ware, Made in U.S.A.", and is circa 1950's.
Jadeite was part of the Fire King glassware series made by Anchor Hocking from the 1940's-1976.
Mug measures about 4" across top including handle, (3 -1/4" without handle), 2-5/8" across bottom, x 3-3/8" tall. Saucer measures about 5-7/8" across x about 7/8" tall.
Holds 8 fluid ounces (240 ml) filled to the brim, 7 ounces (210 ml) comfortably.
Both pieces are in good condition with minor wear noted. No chips, cracks or breaks noted.
