Japanese Cast Iron Hobnail Teapot, Nambu Tekki, Tetsubin Teapot with Two (2) Cups and Stand
Nice, cast iron, hobnail, Nambu Tekki, Tetsubin, tea pot from Japan. Includes 2, matching cast iron cups, stand and removable strainer. Interior is enamel to help prevent rusting. Stand and cups are marked.
Teapot measures approximately 6" across to the outer edge of the spout, and stands 4" tall to the top of the finial on the lid, (not including the handle). Stand measures approximately 5-1/2" across x 5/8" tall.
Holds about 1-1/2 cups (12 fluid ounces or about 360 cc)
Cups measure approximately 3-1/8" across top, 1-1/2" across bottom and stand 2" tall and hold about 1/2 cup (4 fluid ounces or 120 ml)
All pieces are in good condition, there is some minor wear noted to the teapot and the stand. Interior needs a good cleaning but no major damage. Please see pictures for more detail.
