Pretty set of Limoges Castel, demitasse cups and saucers. Transferware, birds and various flowers trimmed with gold.
All pieces are marked with a wreathed J on an open book, the marked used by the Castel Company of Limoges in the 1980's and 1990's.
There are 5 cups total plus 6 saucers with various birds and flowers.
Baltimore Oriole - 2 cups and 1 saucer (Black Eyed Susan)
Robin - 1 cup and 1 saucer (pink Cherry Blossom)
Meadowlark - 1 cup (pink Cherry Blossom) and 1 saucer (red Indian Paintbrush)*Don't match
Chickadee - 1 cup (Pine Tree)
Bluebird - 2 saucers (pink Cherry Blossom)
Robin - 1 saucer (Violets)
Cups measure approximately 2-7/8" across top including handle, 2" across opening x 2-1/8" tall.
Saucers measure approximately 4-1/4" across x about 7/8" tall.
All are in good condition with very minor wear noted.
