An original cast iron, antique sad iron heater stove, manufactured by Central Oil & Gas Stove Co., of Gardner Mass., USA. This rare and unique piece was acquired from a local estate in South Eastern Pennsylvania. Heater measures approx. 5-3/4" wide x 3-1/2" deep x 8-1/2" tall. Heater is embossed with the maker's identification, as shown in the photos.
Heater is in good solid condition, with age appropriate cosmetic wear. There are no dents, breaks, rust holes, or other structural damage. The wick moves up and down as it should when the knob is turned, but the heater has not been tested, and will likely need to be refurbished prior to use.
