RESERVED Outstanding Late 1800's 8 Arm Brass Chandelier Gas Electric Converted, Bullet Shades, Refurbished

This is an amazing, early 1900's, 8 arm brass chandelier ceiling light fixture, with the original etched glass shades, and frosted glass "bullet" globes. This fixture is an original gas and electric combination chandelier, that was professionally converted to an all electric fixture. A complete re-wiring and refurbishing has been completed by a local lighting specialist in our area. It features 4 standard bulb sockets with independent on / off switches, and 4 candelabra sockets, which replaced the original gas valves.

This outstanding, original fixture, was acquired from a friend of our family, from historic West Chester, Pennsylvania. This fixture was original to the home where it was being stored for the past 40 or 50 years.

Light fixture measures approx. 30" across at the outer edge of the glass shades. The height, NOT including the down rod is approx. 17", and the overall height from the ceiling to the bottom of the brass finial is approx. 37". It would be possible to shorten the down rod if the fixture needs to be raised to suit your ceiling height.

Condition: Light fixture has been professionally refurbished and re-wired, with the correct, period style wiring. The switched sockets have been removed, cleaned, lubricated, and reinstalled. The candelabra sockets are new. The patina on the brass finish, has been left undisturbed, as it was when it was when it was removed from it's original home, in West Chester, Pa.
