A Pair of Antique, 1920's Brass Electric Wall Sconces with Art Glass Pastel Shades, Blue and Red, Art Nouveau
This is a wonderful Pair of Art Nouveau, Brass Electric Wall Sconces from the 1920's. Each sconce comes with a pastel, painted art glass shade, one is red, and the other is blue. Both fixtures are in good working order, and have been re-wired with new, period correct wiring. Each fixture features a switched light bulb socket, allowing them be turned on and off independently.
Measurements: The overall measurement of each sconce with the shade attached, are approx. 4" wide x 10" tall. The projection from the wall to the outer edge of the shade is approx. 5-1/2". The fitter size for the glass shades is 2-1/4".
Condition: Both fixtures are in nice condition, free of structural damage and defects. The patina on the brass fixtures and shades, has been preserved as we found them, other than general cleaning. Age appropriate cosmetic wear is present, including scuffs, surface wear, and mild paint splatter. Both fixtures have been tested, and are in good working order. They come complete, and ready to install.
