Reuben Haley Martele Slip Shade Wall Sconce Pair, Consolidated Lamp and Glass Co., Art Deco Wall Sconces

This is a fantastic pair of original, "Martele" light sconces, designed by Reuben Haley and manufactured by Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company. Made only from 1926-1931, these Art Deco, cast iron wall sconces are painted gold and have a floral pattern. Frosted, pastel yellow and clear glass, slip shades also have a floral design.

Sconces are electric and have been rewired.

The overall measurements for each sconce are approx. 8-1/2" wide x 11" tall. The projection from the wall to the outer edge of the glass slip shade is 6".

CONDITION: Both sconces have been re-wired with correct, period style wiring, and are in good working order. Cast iron fixtures are free of cracks, chips, and breaks, with some mild cosmetic wear on the painted surface, consistent with age and previous use. The glass shades are in very nice condition, with only a couple of very minor blemishes, which is only visible upon close inspection. There are no cracks, breaks, or other structural damage. Some mild fading may be present. Overall condition is very good.

These gorgeous and collectible light fixtures would be a great addition to a vintage house restoration or would add fabulous, eclectic flair to any home.
