Vintage Schwinn Bicycle Tire Pump, Wooden Handle Hand Pump, Made In Japan, Good Working Condition
This is an authentic, vintage Schwinn bicycle tire, hand pump, with a wooden handle. Unique hand pump has single foot pedal that is embossed, "Schwinn Approved" on the top of the bottom plate. The top cap, where the rod slides in and out, is marked, "Made in Japan". Original sticker on the side shows the recommended tire size / air pressure chart.
Pump is in great shape for its age, and it good working order. It pumps air as it should, and appears to be free of leaks. Fabric covered rubber hose is in good condition, free of cracks and dry rot. Wooden handle is solid, with no cracks and splits.
The base measures 5" x 2", the T handle measures approx. 6" x 1", and the height is 20" with the plunger in the closed position, and 32" when extended.
This is a fantastic, original Schwinn Bicycle pump that could be used as intended, and would also be a prefect addition to any vintage bicycle collection.
