Very nice, pair of two (2), hand carved and painted, Ruddy Duck Decoys. Handcrafted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania by William L. Gable
Ruddy ducks are stiff-tailed ducks from North America and known for their gray beaks that turn blue in the summer.
Both ducks are signed, "W.L. Gable, Ruddy Duck".
Ducks each measure approximately 11-1/2" long from the tip of beak to tip of tail, 4-1/2" wide, and about 4-1/2" tall to the top of the head.
Both ducks are in good condition, with very with minor wear noted. No breaks, cracks or major scratches noted. Paint intact. Minor flaws and imperfections present as expected with any handmade item.
Beautiful, pair of handcrafted ducks would be a nice addition to any collector of vintage decoys or birds!
