This is an antique, wooden window sash or screen frame, from the late 1800's or very early 1900's. This was acquired from an estate in historic West Chester, Pennsylvania. This was used as a screen insert, but may have also been a "storm" window insert. This fantastic frame has the original, chippie green paint, with rustic 1/2" wire screening.
The overall measurements are 20” x 32” x 1” thick.
CONDITION: Frame is in pretty decent shape with 100+ year old patina. There is some damage on the one corner of the frame as show in the photos, but the frame is good and solid overall. Dirt, cosmetic wear, and patina is present, as displayed in the photos.
