Beautiful, handcrafted, duck figurine made by artist, Stan Langtwait, from Graham, Washington. Stan started "Shapes of Clay" in the 1950's, making clay animals and figurines. In 1980, following the eruption of Mount St. Helens, he began to incorporate ash into his pottery creations. Looks almost like stone. Bottom is signed, "Stan".
Duck measures 4" long from the tip of beak to tip of tail, 1-3/4" wide, and 2-1/4" tall to the top of its head.
In good, pre-owned condition, duck has a few scratches and scuffs as seen in above pictures. Minor imperfections as expected with any handmade item.
