Hand Carved and Painted Mini Duck Decoy, Signed John LaBoon, Small Drake Mallard Duck, Hand Painted Wood Decoy
Very nice, hand carved, mini, Duck Decoy. Beautifully hand carved wood with engraved feathers and hand stained and painted. Bottom is engraved, "Mallard (minature)", John LaBoon, 1985. Additional sticker with makers name and address in Georgia. Four small cork pads on bottom to protect surfaces. Would be perfect for your bookshelf or end table.
Duck measures approximately 8" long from the tip of beak to tip of tail, 3" wide, and about 3-1/4" tall to the top of its head.
Condition is very good with very with minor wear noted. No breaks, cracks or other damage noted. Minor imperfections present as expected with any handmade item.
This beautiful, handcrafted duck would make a nice addition to any collector of vintage decoys or birds!
