This is an early 1940s Kellogg wooden case telephone - intercom subset, with a black telephone handset - 1000 LRK. The wooden case has the original maker's label on the outside, and the black handset base unit has the Kellogg name embossed on the bottom, and a "K" on the front center of the unit.
CONDITION: The wiring inside the wooden case appears to have been partially updated at some point. The black dovetailed case is in good solid condition, free of cracks, breaks, or other structural damage. The telephone handset unit is in nice condition, with light cosmetic wear. Handset coiled cord has some surface damage, shown in the photos. This is a fantastic, original Kellogg set, that would make a wonderful addition to your collection, or to display.
The wooden case measures approx. 8" wide x 4-1/2" deep x 10" tall. Phone handset unit measures approx. 5" x 7-1/2" x 5" tall, not including the handset receiver.
