This is a large, hand forged, antique iron strainer, that was used with a large cauldron when cooking of meat to make sausage. The perforated strainer head measures 7" across x 2-1/4" deep. Overall length is 24".
This would be a perfect addition to your primitive kitchen!
It is in great shape, free of splits, cracks, etc. Surface rust is present as shown in photos.
