The Lakeside Craft Shops were founded in 1912 by Fred Dennett in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Specializing in handcrafted, more specialized wooden furniture such as plant and umbrella stands, small shelves, tables and foot stools. Dennett started making wooden cabinets for Edison Phonographs and as the Arts and Crafts movement went out of style, Lakeside Craft Shops closed in 1930.
Stool measures approximately 15-3/4" wide x 11-1/2" deep at the feet x 17" tall to the very top of the wooden end frame pieces.
The height of the leather covered footrest is approximately 15-1/4", and the width is 4".
Wood stool is in great shape with some expected scuffs and scratches considering age and previous use. Leather is intact with one small tear as seen in above pictures. No structural damage or other cracks, breaks or splits in the wood noted. Original company decal mostly intact as well.
This is truly a unique and gorgeous, hand crafted foot stool that would look fabulous anywhere in your home!
