This is a gorgeous, wooden, Bundy Duck Decoy, with glass eyes. Hand carved then sanded and stained to bring out the beautiful, multi colored wood grain. This duck, that looks to be a blue winged teal, has rings in various, subtle shades of brown, red and green.
Marked "JB" on the bottom and "325" on both the base and the head piece.
Since 1980 John Bundy and his family have been handcrafting duck decoys from locally sourced wood in Indiana. Each one is hand picked by John Bundy himself.
Duck measures approximately 12" long from the tip of beak to tip of tail, 4" wide, and 5" tall to the top of its head.
Duck is in very good condition with very minor scuffs and dents. Imperfections as expected with any handmade item.
Great addition to any collector of vintage decoys or birds!
