Antique Round Victorian Cast Iron Heating Grate Floor Register With Floor Collar Architectural Salvage
This is an early 1920's Round Ornate, Cast Iron Heating Floor Register, with the original floor collar. The grate has a beautiful, ornate design, and great patina. The register can be used with, or without the floor flange, depending on the size of the opening in your floor . This is a nice architectural piece, that could easily be re-painted to suit your decor. This register would also make a great decorative piece, or could be repurposed.
CONDITION: Grate and register are both in in good solid condition, free of cracks and breaks! Register flaps open and close as they should with ease. There are no rust holes or soft spots.
MEASUREMENTS: The top of the grate (flat face of the grate) measures approx. 8" across, and the height is just under 2". The measurement of the inner register portion that fits into the floor is approx. 7". The outer edge of the floor flange measures approx. 11 3/4".
