This is an original, antique glass candy jar, that once sat on the counter of a corner general store, in historic West Chester, Pennsylvania. This fantastic candy jar, has 2 flat "bottoms" so that it can be placed with the top of the jar in the upright position, or with the opening on an angle. The top is threaded for a screw on metal lid, which was missing and not included with this offering. This jar was acquired from the family of the original owner.
Approx. Measurements: 10" across x 9 1/2" tall when placed with the opening at an angle.
Jar is in great shape, free of cracks, chips, and other structural damage. The glass is nice and clear, showing very little cosmetic wear.
