Very nice, cast bronze, table lamp from Handel Lamp Company, circa early 1900's. This early production marking on the side of the base was used primarily from 1902, after the private foundry opened to make bases until 1913, a year before Philip Handel died.
Later bases were marked on the underside of the base instead of the side.
This historic Handel lamp, features a triple pull chain socket cluster, and likely included a reverse painted glass shade, or a stained leaded glass Tiffany style shade.
The lamp base measures 7-1/2” across, and the height to the top of the finial is approximately 23".
Lamp is in good condition, and in good working order, with age appropriate cosmetic wear and patina. There are no cracks, breaks, rust or other structural damage. Modern wiring, power cord, and plug as been installed. All 3 pull chain sockets work as intended.
