This is a very nice, antique, surface flush mount ceiling light fixture, with the original brass fixture and canopy. The glass shade features the original hand painted accents.
This light fixture is in good working condition, with modern wiring. The original patina has been preserved on the brass finish, as it was when we acquired it. There are no cracks, chips, or breaks or other damage. The glass shade has a couple of minor flea bites along the bottom edge which is common for glass shades of this time period. The had painted accents show some fading from many years of use.
The overall measurements of the fixture and shade when installed are approx. 7" wide x 8" tall. The shade measures approx. 7" across x 4-1/2" tall. The overall drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade is 8". The canopy measures approx. 6-1/2" across at the ceiling. The fitter size for the glass shade is 2-1/4".
This is an awesome original light fixture, that would be perfect for many applications, including a hallway, bedroom, or over the kitchen sink.
