This is a fantastic, early 1900's built in, apothecary cabinet with 36 large drawers. The cabinet consists of 3 separate sections that make up the overall 12' long cabinet, as displayed in the photos. There are temporary braces and wood "scabs" fastened to the back and bottom of the cabinet sections, to help keep the unit stable for purposes of obtaining photos, etc. These wooden "braces" would be removed to transport and install the cabinet.
The overall measurements of the complete unit are approx. 144" (12') long x 36" (3') tall x 12" (1') deep. Each drawer measures approx. 12" x 12" x 8" tall.
This one of a kind cabinet is it good, solid condition for its age. Some TLC will be required when installing the cabinet, and there may be some wooden frame pieces that need additional fasteners, or repaired. The condition of most antique items, is a subjective opinion, and it is very important to understand that this cabinet is very old, and will need to be handled with care during the installation process. There is one drawer front that is missing a small piece of wood that has broken off at some point, and another drawer front that is missing the drawer pull. The remaining 34 drawers are complete, and in working order. All of the drawers and face frame have expected chips, small cracks, and general cosmetic wear and patina.
