Two (2), "unsilvered", clear glass ornaments with paper/cardboard hangers. These hand blown, glass balls are from the 1940's during WWII when metal was being preserved for war purposes so no silver was used for decoration. Paper caps or loops were used to hang the ornaments. Hand painted pink / red and white stripes on one and blue stripes with white leaves on the other.
Balls measure approximately 2-1/2" across x 3-1/2" to top.
Both ornaments are in good condition, especially considering their age. Paint is mostly intact on both balls with a few, minor spots of paint loss noted. A few spots of discoloration noted inside both balls. There are small chips on the open, tops of both balls. Please see pictures for more detail. Paper hangers have some creases but no rips or tears noted.
Very collectible, vintage ornaments.
